Orange Pound Cake
- 1¾ c all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 1½ t baking powder
- ½ c milk
- ¾ t baking soda
- 3 oz orange juice
- 1¼ sticks butter
- Zest from 1 orange, oftened
- ¾ c sugar, granulated
Grease and flour loaf pan. Or, use one side of Silicone Baking Pan with Divider. Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda into a medium mixing bowl, set aside.
Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 2-3 min. Beat in eggs one at a time until combined. Add half flour mixture, half milk, and half orange juice. Beat on low speed. Add remaining flour mixture, milk, and orange juice. Continue to beat until combined. Fold in orange zest.
Pour batter into prepared pan or half of Silicone Baking Pan with Divider. Bake for 45-50 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove and cool on a wire rack.
